What's that pill?
Snap a photo of any pill, tablet, or capsule and instantly identify it. Uses AI vision to read the imprint code, then searches drug databases for a match.
Add a free Groq API key to get started
Point your camera at a pill placed on a flat, well-lit surface. AI reads the imprint code (letters/numbers stamped on the pill) and identifies the color, shape, and other physical characteristics.
Type an imprint code (like "M365" or "IP 204"), a pill description ("round white pill with AN 627"), or a drug name directly. PillOrNOT uses AI web search to look up the pill in drug databases.
Deep ID uses AI-powered web search to identify the pill:
PillOrNOT uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture. Your photos are sent directly from your browser to Groq AI using your personal API key. There is no PillOrNOT server — just static code on Cloudflare's CDN.
PillOrNOT is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a pharmacist or doctor before taking any medication. Do not rely solely on AI identification for medication decisions. When in doubt, take the pill to your local pharmacy for professional identification.
